Endless Summer is a deep dive into a typical mid-August day. The seasonal weather invites you to embark on a vibrant journey, an immersion into a nostalgic holiday. There’s no rush. As the sun lazily travels from East to West, you are free to amble, savouring the luxury of never-ending summer in a single, timeless experience.

When Richard Mille tasked us with developing a standalone identity for its new ceramic collection, the brand was adamant it must highlight the watches’ stunning soft pastel palette.
For MilleDollars, this represented the perfect opportunity to pay homage to someone we had admired for a long time: Hiroshi Nagai, an incredible Japanese illustrator.
Drawing inspiration from the pop artist’s singular aesthetic, we set about creating a universe that would encompass the spirit of the watches.
Rather than focus on one single narrative, it would be a lattice of standalone stories that would cross over and feed the overall message.
Then to achieve the right visuals, we worked hand-in-hand with regular collaborators Werlan Meyer, the award-winning animation studio, and Magnetism, the Paris-based digital agency.
The result is a celebration of art, leisure and creativity through various formats, centred around a film that is a love letter to the longevity of summer.
In addition to film, this work was delivered as an interactive digital experience, a book (with haikus), a billboard series with diffusion in Times Square New York, and a social campaign that reached millions of people worldwide.
