Eternal Snow is a winter journey back to the innocence of childhood. Made as a sustainment drive for Richard Mille’s coloured ceramics collection, it’s a heartfelt return to childhood. A reenactment of those special memories we all share - watching white flakes drift gently from the sky and feeling a profound sense of wonder and amazement stir up from within.

Fresh from the success of our Richard Mille Endless Summer campaign, we were briefed to develop a follow-on storyline loosely based in the same universe and sharing the same aesthetic qualities.
For us, this was more than simply reviving characters in a 2.0, and we decided it would be more interesting to tell a brand-new story, while keeping raw emotion as the driving narrative force.
Instead of celebrating the quiet nostalgia of high summer, this time we shifted our focus onto the magic of winter. But rather than falling into the Christmas clichés, we felt it was more powerful to frame the power of falling snow.
It’s a winter journey back to the innocence of childhood and those feelings of excitement and amazement that watching white flakes cascade down from the sky can awaken in all of us, regardless of age.
Once again, we put our trust in award-winning animation experts and long-term MilleDollars collaborators, Werlen Meyer, to fully bring this project to life. Not only does their unique style give this film the same instantly recognisable identity forged for the first coloured ceramics collection, but it also uses the same clever 3D wireframe technique to help deliver the final 2D result.
This helped us make considerable budgetary savings during development without affecting the overall quality of the final film.
